I know so many of my goodreads friends loved this book. I gave it about 120 pages and I felt a real disconnect with all the characters. Because of that, the writing just seemed so 'try hard' to me. I'm not sure if it's the mood that I'm in or not but I will have to set this aside for now. Maybe I will return to it later.
