This is my first Linda Howard book. She has been on my TBR list for the longest and I decided it was about time I try her out. Well, I can definitely see the appeal people have with her books. The writing is done well and there are enough steamy sex scenes. My problem with this book is that the hero was such an ass but never fully made it my "likable ass" list. The mystery/suspense side of the book was okay but I wasn't blown away with the outcome at the end. The book was published in the 90s so there are times that the book felt very outdated.
