I thought this book was ok. It had some nice moments and the internet exchanges were fun. The suspense portion was waaaaay over the top which took up 1/3 of the book. I felt a disconnect between Joie and Hawkins even after when they finally admitted to having feelings for one another. Also, Lizzie, the friend, was such a b*tch. I just don't understand why Joie, who has a strong mind of her own and who seems to be pretty smart, would be friends with such a person. That just annoyed me and didn't seem realistic to fit a personality like Joie's. Riley, the other friend was fun but poor guy was always left behind when Joie and Lizzie was off backstage and at after parties. Joie's asked to get Riley backstage way later than she should have. You just don't leave friends hanging like that even though he said he didn't mind. Overall, this was a decent read but didn't blow me away like I hoped it would.2.5 Stars
