I loved this so much!! There were so many emotions that this book made me feel. I felt the love that Arius and Thea had for each other. Their journey was not easy nor was Rome very nice to them. I'm glad it all ends well but I was an emotional mess reading about all the sh*t they went through to survive. I can not wait to read more from this author!!Side note about Lepida:What surprised me the most was the HATRED I felt for Lepida! I don't know if I ever felt such strong hatred for a character before. Because the author had her POV throughout the book, I was able to see the true evilness this character displayed. It makes me so angry even thinking about her.
