This book is about two friends and their turbulent relationship over 30 years. Tully is a selfish person that did piss me off and I even hated her sometimes. Kate is a timid person who doesn't speak up for herself and she allowed Tully to step all over her at times. Many parts of the book was very frustrating but I will say that this author knows how to emotionally get me. I cried a few times (which doesn't happen with me often when reading) and in the end, these two didn't piss me off anymore. I can't say more about this book without spoiling it for anyone so I will say that I will read more from this author when my heart is in the mood for it.
