I can't write a review for this. No review can do this book justice. Set in WWII, Russia, this is a story full of beauty, anguish, love, betrayal, suffering, strength, happiness and many, many emotions that I just can't explain. I, for one, hardly ever read a book that will break my heart just b/c I can't emotionally handle it. But Tatiana & Alexander's love and strength to overcome all the harshness of their world, pushed me along to finish this book. I will be reading the next book but I'll have to put my emotions back in check before I do. 5++++ Stars!!!
