I read Johnny Be Good and then this book in a 24 hour period. These characters are extremely emotionally exhausting. Meg should have learned her lesson in the first book about the craziness of sex, drugs and rock & roll. I understand why she let Johnny back into her life again but I was a little upset how easily she trusted him around her kid. After all, he's a drug addict who makes bad decisions. It also took Johnny too long to come around. I would have thought he'd change sooner rather than later, especially after finding out about his kid. Everything all ends well and I was happy for that! Even though I was tired of all the angst, I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more from this author.
