Isabel is a strong heroine who can take care of her own. Nick is a very loyal man who will stand by the people he believes in. Convincing Isabel that Nick is the Lord to land takes effort since she has been independent for so long. Their connection with each other wasn't as convincing to me as Callie & Gabriel's in Nine Rules. I felt that falling for each other in a matter of 3 days was too quick even if the writing seemed slow about it. I was also disappointed that we didn't get to read more about Callie & Gabriel or their sister, Julianna. They all make minor appearances but it just wasn't enough for me since I enjoyed their family interaction from the previous book. Other than that, I enjoyed this book. It was funny & the bantering was cute. I look forward to reading Julianna's book.
