Historical romance is not my genre of choice but after reading books by Judith McNaught, I may have to reevaluate that. Her writing draws me into a past world where I can picture myself standing there watching a scene unfold and feeling the emotions that are involved. She does just that in A Kingdom of Dreams. I loved the characters in this book. I loved reading about a badass "wolf" and a "proud" heroine falling in love with one another even if they are enemies. This book left me with a warm, queasy feeling that made my heart tighten with happiness. I don't mean to make this sound sappy but this truly is an awesome love story. I can't wait to read another Judith McNaught book.
